Thematic review
A supervisor’s review of one topic across many firms in a sector, published as findings and expectations.
Rather than inspecting one firm in depth, a thematic review looks at one topic, such as outsourcing, cyber security or client onboarding, across a sample of firms. The published report describes good and poor practice.
Firms that were not in the sample are still expected to read the findings and act on them.
